The New England Chapter of the Music Library Association (NEMLA) brings together all those in the region interested in music libraries, archives, and collections. The Chapter encourages the professional activities of its members, and provides a venue to exchange ideas and discuss best practices and standards for collection, cataloging, preservation, and access to music and information about music. Through outreach to public libraries, library schools, and generalist librarians, the Chapter offers advice and support to those charged with music reference, collection development, and cataloging.
